I love music.

Always have and always will.

I began studying voice at age 13, earning All-State and All Northwest honors in school.  I attended both the University of Washington and Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, graduating with a degree in Jazz Voice Performance and a minor in bass.  After cutting my teeth in Seattle jazz venues I moved to New York City where I worked with the Hank Lane Orchestra and at local clubs. I continued furthering my studies at the Juilliard School as well as with great private instructors (David Budway - jazz piano, Carolyn Paulus - classical voice).  I also cemented my love of teaching in New York, working with voice students at the Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at the Aaron Copeland School of Music (Queens College) as well as cultivating my own voice and piano studio.  In 2005 I moved to Naples, where I play regularly with my jazz trio, serve as the Vocal Arts/Choral Director for The Community School of Naples, perform with Opera Naples and the Naples Philharmonic as well as operate the Naples Carolers.
